Forager's Delight Tea Towels, Hand printed and plant dyed on organic cotton
Any order made between 12/15-12/31 will not be shipped until the New Year
These organic cotton tea towels are one of a kind, block printed and dyed naturally with plants. Made with love and intention, and with as little negative environmental impact as possible.
Make any home a little more fun and funky with these mixed mushroom towels. These square dish towels are 27”x27”, and have 8 total prints on them. Printed with hand made linocuts of oyster mushrooms, king boletes, morels and chanterelles.
Shibori is a technique of creating resists on the fabric (like tie-dye) to create unique patterns. What you see pictured is not necessarily the design you will get as each piece of fabric is tied and dyed separately.
*Colors may vary as each onesie is hand dyed and hand printed. Each onesie is unique, no two are exactly alike.
Plants used in dyeing:
Indigo, cutch
Washing Instructions: As will all plant dyed and block printed items, wash cold and hang dry for best results. The plants I work with are all highly “colorfast”, meaning they shouldn’t fade in the wash. The printed mushroom may fade slightly after the first wash, but should not fade further.
Packaging:
I have taken great care to ensure every piece of packaging used is biodegradable and can be composted in a commercial composting facility. Yes, I even use compostable tape! The tea towels themselves are also compostable (but I hope you won't be throwing them in the compost)!
