What plants do I use to dye?

I use many plants including myrobalan (yellow), cutch (brown), indigo (blue), madder root (red), quebracho (tan), black tea (beige), onion skins (red or orangish yellow), weld (yellow).

Do I sew all of the clothes I sell?

I design and sew many of the clothes that I sell, and will let you know in the product description. However, I also thrift for clothes and sometimes buy blanks to dye and print.

How long have I been an artist?

I usually say that I’ve been an artist my whole life, or ever since I can remember. In 2022 I left my office job for the rainbow colored pastures of full time art, and have been a dedicated artist ever since.

Why am I so obsessed with plants and mushrooms?

I believe there is a great depth of wisdom within plants and mushrooms, and all of the other aspects of the living world; we just need to slow down and listen. I also believe that this plant wisdom is what will inspire us to live in harmony with our environment, making it a key to our survival.
