This set of prayer flags is hand dyed with plants and hand printed on organic, fair trade cotton fabric.

The four elements date back to ancient Greece, Tibet and India, and were used in alchemy and astrology. These flags can be hung both indoors and outdoors. They elegantly blow in the breeze and look exquisite with sunlight streaming though. Greatly inspired by Tibetan Prayer Flags, these flags are meant to carry and spread your prayers, wishes, hopes and intentions for the Earth. They are the perfect gift for nature and animal lovers, children, and/or anyone who wants to add a fun pop of plant based color to their home.

The animals I chose to represent each element are all native to my home in the Rocky Mountains. All five species of the animal kingdom are represented: Bird, reptile, mammal, amphibian and fish.

The fifth (middle) flag is the compass rose, representing the four directions. The compass is a balance of all four elements, coming together in perfect harmony.

Indigo, Madder root, Myrobalan

Packaging:
I have taken great care to ensure every piece of packaging used is biodegradable and can be composted in a commercial composting facility. Yes, I even use compostable tape! The prayer flags themselves are also compostable (but I hope you won't be throwing them in the compost)!
